Basketball
Basketball is one of the top sports at Special Olympics. Players take it up at all ages and at all abilities, from young players learning to handle the ball and keep it under control while dribbling to older, more experienced players who have the moves and know the strategies to play challenging ball.
It's also one of the favorite sports for the Special Olympics Unified Sports initiative, when players with and without intellectual disabilities form teams to play other unified teams. It's a learning experience that's also a lot of fun.

Cornhole
Cornhole is NEW this year. And while not recognized as an official sport, we adopted it to have another opportunity to have athletes come together.

Figure Skating
NOT OFFERED AT THIS TIME. CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR ICE AND COACHES.
Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform spins, jumps, footwork and other intricate and challenging moves on ice skates. Figure skating is one of the few judged Special Olympics sports. Special Olympics figure skating features singles and pairs jumps, lifts and many feats of strength and precision. Ice dancers concentrate on interpreting the rhythm and tempo of music through dance steps on the ice. Figure skaters compete at various levels from beginner up to the Olympic level (senior), and at local, national, and international competitions.
We are looking for Figure Skating Coaches and possibly Speed Skating!
