As a Direct Service Specialist for our Adult Day Program, you'll have the exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities! You’ll be a mentor and a friend, helping our clients to have rewarding programming. From facilitating outings, taking care of personal care activities, to ensuring everyone stays safe, your role will be both rewarding and dynamic. The Ride Along is responsible for transportation and in-camp responsibilities. As a camp counselor, the Ride Along will provide direct care, supervision, and leadership to clients and volunteers participating in Partners N Pals. For transportation, the Ride Along will supervise clients and volunteers on transportation vehicles and assist the driver with wheelchairs and complete other tasks as necessary.
The Vanpool Driver is responsible for transportation and in-camp responsibilities, such as being a 1-on-1 direct service counselor. As a camp counselor, the Vanpool Driver will provide direct care, supervision, and leadership to clients and volunteers participating in Partners N Pals. For transportation, the Vanpool Driver transports The Arc of Tri-Cities clientele to specific locations. The Vanpool Driver understands and adheres to Washington State traffic laws and complies with local traffic regulations.
