Get Involved in PNP!

Volunteers

Ages 11 and up are welcome to apply to be a volunteer for our Summer Camp!

Our camps serve children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities ages 2-21

Requirements:

• have transportation to and from location (we have over 200 kids we serve in camp which means every spot on the bus is for filled)

• able to pass a background check (if under 18, we run a WA state patrol background)

• attend training (TBD)

• Willing heart ready to play and have fun with our campers!

There are two different type of camps:

• Partners N Pals Jr. : This camp is serves kids ages 2-7. It’s M-Th 9:30-11:30am. We have a Pasco Camp and a Richland Camp. This camp is all about playing! We have water activities, toys, and games. Your job as a volunteer is to help the staff and CITs keep these campers playing and having a good time. This camp stays in one location for the full time unlike Partners N Pals Sr. Volunteers are required to have transportation to and from the location. Volunteers will not be paid for their time but can use us as a reference and for volunteer hours. You can pick and choose which weeks you’re available.

• Partners N Pals Sr: Due to van capacity and an influx of campers, we are not able to do volunteers this year for PNP SR. We are working on getting it available for next.
