Benton Franklin Parent Coalition
Stay Informed, Connected, & Empowered
The Benton Franklin Parent Coalition is comprised of parents, caregivers, advocates, and community stakeholders who together advocate on local, state, and national levels to improve the lives of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This advocacy takes many different forms - locally it could be advocating for a child with their teacher, helping to improve access to needed therapies, or serving on local boards. On the State and national level, advocacy may be asking elected officials to support IDD-friendly legislation or helping officials craft new legislation and policies.
However, the Parent Coalition’s mission doesn’t end there. The Coalition is ready to help with resources, education, connections, information and so much more. Please reach out to our Coordinator to join the Coalition – YOUR voice is wanted and needed!
