Buddy Club
Who Are We
Our purpose is to include teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the general population of their schools. We strive to develop friendships between students with disabilities and students without disabilities. We strive to decrease isolation, provide opportunities for socialization, and increase inclusion in schools. All while having fun!!
What We Do
This unique club is centered on friendship! The Buddy Club provides opportunities for teens with disabilities to form friendships with teens without disabilities in their school. Buddy Club members are "matched" for the entire year and will commit to contacting each other on a regular basis during the school year.
All Buddy Club meetings will be held in person on campus during once a week Buddy Lunches.
