Buddy Club
Who Are We
Our purpose is to include teens with intellectual & developmental disabilities in the general population of their schools. We strive to develop friendships between students with disabilities and students without disabilities. We strive to decrease isolation, provide opportunities for socialization, and increase inclusion in schools.
What We Do
This unique club is centered on friendship! The Buddy Club provides opportunities for teens with disabilities to form friendships with teens without disabilities in their school. Buddy Club members come and eat lunch, play a game or just come and hang out with their Buddies. We have monthly events outside of school for all our Buddy Club members to attend.
All Buddy Club groups will be held in person on campus during once-a-week Buddy Lunches.
