This year the theme of The Arc of Tri-Cities fundraising gala is Imagine. Each day at The Arc of Tri-Cities, people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) fill the agency with laughter, hope and camaraderie —imagine them instead with nothing to do but to sit at home alone. Every day, The Arc staff encourages and challenges and cheers the accomplishments participants with I/DD — imagine instead bleak days of no encouragement, no cheers.

At The Arc of Tri-Cities, the staff imagines how to build self esteem, skill sets and fun galore for the people with  I/DD that they serve — and then they make it happen. The Arc allots 90% of its budget to the more than 20 programs it maintains for the people it serves—but more is needed. Imagine yourself as someone who will help provide opportunities for those with disabilities to reach their full potential.
