Non-Coaching Volunteer Roles

Team Coordinator: 

This position helps the coach with the details of running a single team such as tracking uniform sizes, communicating news and schedule changes, and helping coordinate travel for tournaments.  Training and resources are provided.  This position may be paired with an Athlete who is interested in learning this role through the Athlete Leadership program.

 

Social Media Coordinator: 

This position is an opportunity to increase the social media presence of Tri-Cities Special Olympics.  Volunteers for this role can focus on a single team or multiple teams.  This position may be paired with an Athlete who is interested in learning this role through the Athlete Leadership program.

 

Fundraising Coordinator:

There are a variety of fundraising opportunities already developed through Special Olympics Washington.  Volunteer opportunities in this area include both supporting and overseeing events.  This position includes working with athletes who are committed to supporting fundraising efforts for Special Olympics as ambassadors to the program.

 

Webpage Master:

Support the local office by keeping the website up to date and looking awesome.  The Webpage Master should have experince with or willing to learn the Joomla web design system. This position may be paired with an Athlete who is interested in learning this role through the Athlete Leadership program.
