Adaptive Swim Lessons  the arc logoCity of Richland

Pilot Project-

 

What:     

The City of Richland is looking at offering Adaptive Swim Lessons for kids and adults who want to learn to swim. Lessons will be taught by certified instructors, since this is a pilot project The City of Richland and The Arc will be looking for feedback in future program development

How:

The City of Richland will be offering 40 Minute lessons between 9 am and 12:15 noon.

Evening Lessons are 30 mintues long and happen Monday's and Tuesdays cost $36.00

Sessions are one-on-one instruction

When:

Each session has 4 classes starting June 16 and ending August 22

Where:

City of Richland Pool- George Prout Pool

Cost:

$48 for one on one instruction- Day Classes

$36 for one on one instruction - Evening Classes- Can not use Respite Dollars for this class time

The Arc of Tri-Cities has partnered with the City of Richland in order to offer these classes at reduced cost. Families can use their respite or community engagement dollars with DDA for this service.

Why:

An opportunity to learn water safety, build confidence, exercise, increase community safety and have fun!

Who:

Individuals with developmental disabilities & special needs all ages - minimum age is 4 years of age
